Occupational Therapist School Setting in Arlington, WA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working full-time as an in-person Occupational Therapist serving an elementary school caseload. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license issued by the state
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Skill in providing individualized interventions and supporting students’ IEP goals
• Strong communication abilities for interacting with staff, parents, and students
• Adaptability and collaborative spirit within an educational environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct OT services to elementary-aged students in-person
• Assess, document, and track student progress as part of IEP teams
• Support teachers and staff with strategies to foster student independence
• Conduct evaluations and contribute to the development of OT intervention plans
• Participate in meetings related to student support and progress monitoring
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation
