Occupational Therapist School Setting in Aromas, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in school-based settings is highly preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, IEP development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort with traveling between sites as part of an itinerant schedule
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans focused on academic and functional goals
• Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student learning and participation
• Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
• Travel to various schools within the area as part of a flexible, engaging workweek
