Bring your passion for pediatric occupational therapy to a rewarding contract position supporting K-8 students across two school sites. This opportunity offers the chance to help students build vital skills that foster their independence and success in a school setting. You’ll work closely with educators, families, and staff to support an existing caseload of 38+ students, with additional consults as needed. The role provides a structured, full-time schedule and the satisfaction of making a tangible difference each day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active occupational therapy license in the state
  • Experience working in school settings or with K-8 students preferred
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and consult on additional student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Proficiency in documentation and familiarity with IEP processes

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve two school sites, delivering direct OT services for a K-8 caseload
  • Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment goals and strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to embed OT recommendations within classroom activities and routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, maintain ongoing communication regarding student progress, and adapt interventions as necessary
  • Provide consultation and support for additional students as determined by the district
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation for all therapy services and outcomes

Important Details:

  • Hours: 40 per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Contract dates: August 5, 2026 – June 2, 2027
  • Director will be available for interviews after mid-July; candidates will be contacted once interviews are scheduled
  • Position is fully onsite
