This part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is based in Arvada, CO, offering flexibility and a contract-to-hire position in a school setting. The role involves providing specialized therapy services across two locations, supporting students' developmental and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services 28 hours/week or 14 hours/week, depending on schedule preferences.
- Provide therapy services three days per week at Sky Ranch Academy (Watkins, CO) and one day per week at Capstone Academy (Commerce City, CO).
- Collaborate with educational staff to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and promote student success.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active Special Service Provider (SSP) license issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) is required.
- Experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting preferred.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible, part-time schedule as directed by the school director.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with staff and students.
