School Occupational Therapist - Arvada, Colorado

This opportunity is ideal for an Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings, ready to contribute to the development and support of students in a K-12 environment. Serving Arvada, CO, this Contract-to-Hire position spans a full semester, offering 28 or 14 hours per week with a flexible schedule. The role requires splitting time between two locations, spending three days at one academy and one day at another, supporting the unique needs of each student community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services tailored to students’ developmental and educational goals.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create effective intervention plans.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
• Support compliance with school and state regulations related to service delivery.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of therapy programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Special Service Provider (SSP) license issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) is mandatory.
• Proven experience providing occupational therapy in K-12 school settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Flexibility to work onsite at two locations: three days at Sky Ranch Academy in Watkins, CO, and one day at Capstone Academy in Commerce City, CO.
