Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a registered Occupational Therapist serving schools in the vibrant North Denver area. This itinerant role provides a dynamic experience supporting students across two elementary schools, one middle school, and select homebound learners. With a balanced caseload and an innovative allocation model, your expertise will help meet diverse needs while ensuring manageable workloads.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students (caseload of 40-60) from elementary to middle school, including support for homebound learners.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Attend meetings, complete timely documentation, and participate in school-based initiatives as needed.
  • Provide support in both specialized program and pre-K settings, with workloads adjusted to reflect the intensity of each site.
  • Travel between assigned schools within the North Denver area.

Qualifications:

  • Current Colorado Occupational Therapy (OT) License.
  • Valid CO Department of Education (DOE) license.
  • DORA certification.
  • Previous experience in school-based OT preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to attend required on-site New Hire Orientation Summer Symposium, July 27-31, with school-year duties beginning August 3.
