Step into a rewarding contract opportunity delivering vital occupational therapy services to K-12 students in the Denver area. You’ll play a critical role supporting a diverse caseload as part of a school-based team committed to ensuring every student achieves their fullest potential. This role offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, providing stability and the chance to build meaningful connections.

You will work onsite across one or more locations, with assignments determined based on school needs. Your ability to adapt and collaborate will help address students’ unique needs in a variety of school settings. This assignment covers a leave of absence with a start date as soon as possible and extends through October 9, 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education Occupational Therapist certification (covering birth to age 21)
  • Experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
  • Skill in evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized therapy programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, student-centered environment
  • Willingness to complete required background check promptly upon offer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels, tailoring interventions to individual learning and developmental needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs or 504 plans
  • Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and communications
  • Adapt to changing caseloads and school assignments as needed
  • Support the transition of students between settings and promote skills for greater independence
