This full-time, school-based occupational therapy position offers the chance to work across varied educational environments, providing essential support as part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active Georgia occupational therapy license required
  • Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Versatility across PreK to high school age groups
  • Proficient in adapting interventions to align with educational goals and IEPs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Capable of working collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, following IEPs and best practices
  • Assess students’ functional, sensory, and motor skills to develop personalized therapy plans
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary colleagues to support classroom accommodations
  • Document progress, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Advocate for assistive technologies and strategies that maximize student engagement and independence
  • Support transitions between grade levels and facilitate generalization of skills across settings
