Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Occupational Therapist license and GaPSC Certification (both required)
- Experience within a school environment is highly valued
- Background working with students with disabilities preferred
- Ability to provide all services onsite (remote/virtual options not available)
- Up-to-date clearance documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services for two students, 30 minutes each per week
- Assess fine motor development, sensory processing needs, and everyday functional skills in an academic setting
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related staff to facilitate student progress and participation in the classroom
- Offer practical recommendations for accommodations and modifications that help students access instruction
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress and therapy outcomes in compliance with IEPs
- Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate to ensure comprehensive student support
