Make a meaningful difference in the lives of middle school students by providing expert occupational therapy services in a dynamic educational setting. This part-time contract opportunity invites you to work closely with 5th and 6th graders in a supportive, collaborative school community.

As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering individualized OT services to two students, each receiving 30 minutes of support weekly. Your specialized skills will help address fine motor development, sensory processing, functional skills, and participation, making a direct and lasting impact on their educational journey.

Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Occupational Therapist license and GaPSC Certification (both required)
  • Previous school-based OT experience preferred
  • Experience with students with disabilities is an asset
  • Up-to-date clearance documentation
  • Ability to provide onsite services—this is not a remote position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, weekly OT services as outlined in each student’s IEP
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and tailor interventions to individual needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and other service providers
  • Recommend accommodations or modifications to maximize student participation and success
  • Maintain thorough progress documentation and communicate regularly with the school team
  • Ensure full compliance with IEPs and relevant regulations
