Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in New Jersey
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting students in achieving their fullest potential
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Complete evaluations and assessments to determine individual student needs
- Document progress, attend meetings, and participate in collaborative planning sessions with educators and staff
- Educate school personnel and families about strategies that promote student participation and independence
- Maintain compliance with all state and district policies
