Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position offers the chance to support students across a range of ages (3 to 22 years), providing vital district-wide, itinerant services in an engaging educational setting near Auburn, WA. You’ll begin your assignment with four paid orientation days in August before the academic year kicks off.

As an integral member of the educational support team, you will:

Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid Washington State OT Licensure and ESA certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in a school-based setting
  • Must currently reside within the United States
  • Completed fingerprinting and background clearance
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Commitment to in-person work; remote services are not available for this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students ages 3–22 in various school environments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of services following all regulatory standards
  • Travel throughout the district as needed to meet the needs of your assigned student caseload

This role offers a structured, Monday–Friday daytime schedule (7.5 paid hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) and opportunities to work collaboratively in a supportive environment dedicated to student growth. The assignment begins with four orientation dates: August 17, 20, 21, and 24, preceding the first day of school on August 26, 2026.
