Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current ME OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop targeted treatment plans for students with diverse needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide consultative support to classroom staff to integrate OT strategies into daily routines
