This role involves three days per week on site at Sky Ranch Academy and one day per week at Capstone Academy, enabling you to work closely with a diverse student population in collaborative settings. Bring your skills in evaluating, planning, and implementing interventions that help students achieve their fullest academic and functional potential.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid, active Special Service Provider (SSP) license issued by CDE required
- Background in school-based Occupational Therapy, with experience supporting K-12 populations
- Knowledge of assessments, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and effective therapy interventions within school settings
- Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and consult with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based therapy and support to students to foster independence, access, and participation in school activities
- Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement IEPs and therapeutic goals
- Conduct screenings and assessments to determine students’ needs
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services on site, traveling between Sky Ranch Academy and Capstone Academy as scheduled
- Maintain diligent records and meet compliance standards as set by school and state requirements
