Preferred Qualifications:
- Active license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Colorado or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, writing IEP goals, and delivering therapy interventions in line with school protocols
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, administration, and caregivers
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop tailored OT intervention plans
- Collaborate in creating and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy to students as prescribed
- Maintain clear documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success across multiple environments
- Provide resources and education to staff and families supporting students’ developmental progress
