Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license (required)
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and school-based documentation processes
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Must be available for onsite services only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct Occupational Therapy to a caseload of approximately 20 students, addressing a range of needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each student’s goals and requirements
  • Assess students’ functional skills and collaborate on IEP development
  • Maintain thorough, accurate records and progress notes according to district and regulatory requirements
  • Offer consultative support and training for school staff and families as needed
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure a safe, supportive environment conducive to achieving therapy goals

This contract is for 16 hours per week (1.5 days weekly) and spans from August 13th, 2026 through May 20th, 2027. The assignment is exclusively onsite, providing hands-on, impactful interventions within a supportive educational setting.
