Exciting contract opportunity available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist interested in working with K-12 students near the Denver area. This onsite, full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing leave coverage for a dynamic student population. Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification as an Occupational Therapist (ages birth through 21)
- Previous experience in school-based OT preferred
- Flexibility to work with varying ages and adapt to changing caseload needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced educational setting
- Commitment to completing a background check upon offer acceptance
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services across multiple K-12 school settings
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Document services and progress in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Provide supportive strategies and interventions to enable student success in school environments
- Travel between assigned schools, as determined by the district
In this contract role, you’ll engage with students at various developmental stages, offering impactful support that helps foster independence, learning, and participation. Scheduling is Monday through Friday, with a 37.5-hour work week ensured for a healthy work-life balance.
