Qualified applicants possess:
- A current Occupational Therapist license, valid in Colorado
- Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Certification and experience providing OT services within school settings
- Comfortable engaging with students from elementary through high school levels
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and assessment skills
Key responsibilities in this role:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, supporting their participation in the classroom and throughout daily school routines
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and strengths
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Offer training and resources to teachers, staff, and families to foster students’ access to education
- Regularly participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
