Licensed Certified School Occupational Therapist - Aurora, Colorado

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapy certification and active state licensure
• Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Proven ability to provide one-on-one therapy services effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Comfortable adapting support strategies and documentation to meet unique student goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for individual students
• Deliver direct 1:1 OT services based on student IEPs or 504 plans
• Collaborate with educational teams to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with school policies
• Provide guidance and training to staff and families on implementing therapy techniques in various settings
• Contribute to IEP meetings and advocate for student needs through informed recommendations
