Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy certification and active state licensure
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Proven ability to provide one-on-one therapy services effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable adapting support strategies and documentation to meet unique student goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for individual students
- Deliver direct 1:1 OT services based on student IEPs or 504 plans
- Collaborate with educational teams to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities
- Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with school policies
- Provide guidance and training to staff and families on implementing therapy techniques in various settings
- Contribute to IEP meetings and advocate for student needs through informed recommendations
