As a valued clinician, your expertise will support K-12 students through individualized interventions, adaptive strategies, and collaborative problem-solving. Responsibilities include:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in group and one-to-one settings
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions based on data
- Provide therapy in-person, via teletherapy, and, where needed, home settings
- Communicate regularly with educators, families, and administration to support student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (or on track to obtain before start date)
- Previous school-based, teletherapy, or healthcare OT experience preferred
- Flexibility and adaptability in various service delivery models
- Skilled communicator with passion for collaborative student support
