A rewarding opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support student success for the upcoming school year. This is a contract assignment in the greater Aurora, IL area, focused on providing school-based OT services to a diverse student population. The full-time position spans the course of the academic year, with a schedule of 35 hours per week and a caseload that covers K-12 students.

Your expertise in school-based Occupational Therapy, whether delivered in person, through home health, or via teletherapy, will make a significant impact on students’ daily lives and routines. The collaborative nature of this role allows you to work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (or in process, to be obtained before start date)
  • Experience in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy setting preferred
  • Passion for pediatric, school-aged therapy and individualized student care
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Occupational Therapy services to elementary and K-12 aged students as outlined in student IEPs
  • Assessing, planning, and implementing personalized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with school teams and families to support student learning and development
  • Maintaining thorough and timely documentation
