Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant learning environment near Aurora, IL for the Fall 2026 school year. This role will cover a leave from August 14, 2026, through October 30, 2026, and is ideal for a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). Consideration will also be given to experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), provided appropriate supervision arrangements are in place.

You will work across two nearby school buildings, providing vital occupational therapy services to students in both Early Childhood (ages 3–5) and elementary (K–5) settings. This assignment offers a unique chance to make an impact throughout a diverse caseload, supporting student growth and school engagement.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as an OT or COTA (with necessary supervision)
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based populations
  • Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and special education processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet a range of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services per students’ IEPs and support their educational goals
  • Implement accommodations outlined in 504 plans
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, specialists, and families
  • Conduct evaluations and develop comprehensive student reports
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Track, document, and monitor student progress across the caseload

The work schedule aligns with student attendance, totaling 7 hours per day with a midday break, covering approximately 8,000–9,500 minutes per quarter.
