We're seeking two dedicated OTs for contract positions, each offering a unique opportunity to provide vital support to young learners in a dynamic school setting near Aurora, IL.

Opportunities Available:

  • First Position: Provide coverage for two non-concurrent leaves across two elementary schools throughout the full academic year, with full-time hours totaling 35+ per week.
  • Second Position: Fill a full-time maternity leave at an elementary school from October through April, also offering 35+ hours weekly.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois.
  • Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with elementary-aged children.
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and work closely with teachers, administrators, and families.
  • A passion for fostering growth and helping students reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students according to their educational needs.
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and contribute to student planning meetings.
  • Create and monitor individualized treatment plans, focusing on enhancing fine motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive functioning.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to support student success and address barriers to learning.
