Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational environment. This position focuses on delivering high-quality occupational therapy services within a specialized Transition Program for young adults (ages 18-21) and a Behavioral Academy (K-12), both housed in a collaborative school setting near Aurora, IL. You'll have the chance to work directly with a diverse group of learners, build strong partnerships with staff, and shape students’ success through innovative therapeutic approaches.

Leverage your expertise in traditional school-based OT services, home health, and teletherapy as you engage in meaningful interactions and provide tailored support that meets each student's unique needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid and active Occupational Therapist Registration (OTR)
  • Previous experience with school-based OT, home health, and/or teletherapy preferred
  • Ability to perform consultative and direct services across multiple age groups
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, annual reviews, and 3-year re-evaluations
  • Proficient in one-on-one and small group interventions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience supporting students with diverse behavioral and developmental needs is a plus

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services for both K-12 students and those in the 18-21 Transition Program
  • Participate actively in annual reviews, triennial re-evaluations, and IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with educational staff, families, and related service providers
  • Implement innovative, person-centered interventions in both individual and group sessions
  • Monitor student progress and provide clear, effective documentation
