High School Occupational Therapist School Setting in Aurora, IL

What you’ll bring:

• Active and valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license (no COTAs)
• Demonstrated experience working in a school environment, specifically at the high school level
• Strong communication and organizational skills to balance multiple cases
• Ability to provide services exclusively onsite and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for fostering skills that enable students to achieve educational and developmental goals

Role responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to high school students, both one-on-one and in group settings
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized intervention plans based on student needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
• Maintain clear documentation consistent with state and district requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to support each student’s success
