Your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will contribute to a collaborative school environment, where your skills and passion directly influence student well-being and success. The contract spans from August 10, 2026, through May 24, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Illinois state OT license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous experience working with pediatric and/or school-based populations preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs, goal development, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student groups across K-12th grades
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across K-12th grade
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal-setting, and document student progress
  • Adapt strategies and interventions to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and legal standards
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging school environment
