Occupational Therapist School Setting in Aurora, IL

This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to work Monday through Friday, 8:15am to 3:30pm, dedicating your skills across a 36.25-hour workweek. The assignment is secured through December 2026, with the possibility of extension through June 2027 for those thriving in the environment.

Your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will be valued as you support a diverse caseload, addressing a range of disabilities and working collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Illinois
• Experience supporting students in school-based or therapeutic settings
• Comfortable working with individuals across K-12 age groups
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering independence and promoting overall student well-being

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students with varying needs
• Document progress, maintain compliance, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide consultation to staff and families, sharing strategies and resources for classroom and home environments
