Step into a meaningful role supporting K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist! This onsite, full-time contract position runs from August 2026 to May 2027 and provides an opportunity to have a real impact within local schools. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student growth, independence, and participation in the classroom and other school-based activities.

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across K-12 populations
  • Evaluate and assess students to develop individualized intervention and treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other specialists to promote student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Participate in meetings, IEP development, and consult with families as needed
  • Stay current with best practices and professional standards for school-based OT services

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • A valid and active Occupational Therapist license in Florida
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic school environment
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adjust strategies as needed
