This full-time, contract role spans the academic year, beginning August 6, 2026, and continuing through May 27, 2027. Enjoy a structured schedule with 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, focusing exclusively on delivering direct and indirect OT services to students—allowing you to concentrate on what you do best, without any additional campus duties such as bus monitoring or parent pick-up.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous school-based OT experience or a strong desire to work within educational settings
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Arizona (or eligibility upon hire)
- Proficiency in working with K-12th grade students across a spectrum of needs and abilities
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt OT strategies to diverse classroom environments
- Commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and progress tracking
Your Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating targeted treatment plans for students
- Delivering evidence-based OT interventions, both direct and consultative
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting on progress toward goals
- Providing support and recommendations for classroom adaptations or equipment
- Maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
