Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Arizona
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, educators, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized strategies and interventions for elementary-aged students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students on your elementary caseload
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in alignment with district and state requirements
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and caregivers to optimize student success
- Participate in relevant IEP meetings and contribute expertise within multidisciplinary teams
