As an OT in the school setting, you’ll have the chance to:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold (or be eligible for) an active Arizona OT license, along with an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Bring prior experience in schools, including evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, and providing targeted therapy (preferred)
• Demonstrate versatility in service delivery—including on-site, teletherapy, and home-based environments
• Exhibit outstanding communication, documentation, and collaboration skills working with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12
• Participate in IEP meetings, craft and update education plans, and set student-centered goals
• Maintain accurate therapy records and progress documentation in compliance with district and state standards
• Adapt interventions to support diverse student needs, ensuring access to academic and life skills curriculum
