We have several openings for dedicated professionals eager to support K-12 learners in a contract role. This in-person position offers a consistent 32.5-hour workweek, allowing you to make a significant difference across varied school settings while working collaboratively with educators, families, and fellow therapists.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist licensure in Missouri, or eligibility to obtain.
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or working with pediatric populations is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, teachers, and families.
  • Flexibility to work across different grade levels with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and actively participate in team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district procedures.
  • Provide consultative support, education, and training for staff and caregivers regarding occupational therapy interventions and student needs.
  • Adapt therapy sessions using creative techniques to engage and motivate students of all ability levels.
