This onsite, full-time contract opportunity near Baltimore, MD, welcomes certified Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) ready to make an immediate impact. Part-time schedules may be considered for candidates available on Thursdays and Fridays.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and specialists to foster student success and independence. The school runs a year-round calendar, offering exposure to consistent routines and meaningful progress for your caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as an OT or COTA
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
  • Enthusiasm for working with neurodiverse populations, especially students on the autism spectrum
  • Availability for onsite interview to meet staff and see the environment firsthand
  • Commitment to at least a 3-month contract, with potential for long-term placement

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students according to IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and IEPs
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to staff and families as needed
  • Adapt sessions to accommodate a range of sensory, behavioral, and developmental needs
