What we’re seeking:

  • Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with active licensure
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Ability to design and implement customized therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, maintaining documentation, and tracking progress
  • Positive, adaptable mindset and a passion for empowering children in an educational environment

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of needs, fostering improved function in academic and social settings
  • Complete initial and ongoing assessments, developing individualized goals and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ participation across school routines
  • Provide consultative services and recommend environmental modifications for optimal student access and participation
  • Monitor progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy
