What we’re seeking:
- Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with active licensure
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Ability to design and implement customized therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, maintaining documentation, and tracking progress
- Positive, adaptable mindset and a passion for empowering children in an educational environment
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of needs, fostering improved function in academic and social settings
- Complete initial and ongoing assessments, developing individualized goals and treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ participation across school routines
- Provide consultative services and recommend environmental modifications for optimal student access and participation
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Stay current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy
