A highly regarded school district near Baltimore is seeking enthusiastic Occupational Therapists and talented COTAs for a full-time, onsite contract position beginning August 10, 2026, and ending June 8, 2027. Empower elementary-aged children (ages 3 to 5th grade) as part of a supportive, collaborative team, dedicated to fostering growth and inclusion.

What we’re looking for:

  • Active Maryland Occupational Therapy License (required)
  • Experience or genuine interest in a school-based setting
  • Knowledge of interventions for students with high-level autism, communication, and behavioral needs
  • Will consider strong COTAs with appropriate state licensure
  • Comfortable working with flexible caseloads and possibly covering multiple schools (details to be confirmed at interview)
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate with a strong mentor program

What you’ll do:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students with varying needs, including those on the Academic Life Skills track
  • Support students’ development in areas such as sensory integration, fine motor skills, and classroom participation
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and district specialists
  • Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district
