Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT licensure (or eligibility) for the state of Maine
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective therapy interventions tailored to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school staff to support students’ academic and functional performance
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions within classroom, small-group, or one-on-one settings
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and help foster an inclusive educational atmosphere
