Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Illinois.
  • Previous pediatric/school-based OT experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new work environments and student needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services in a school setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans for students.
  • Document progress and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.
  • Promote independence, participation, and skill development for students.
  • Support a positive, inclusive educational environment.
