This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule (1.0 FTE) for the entire school year, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with students and collaborate closely with educators and families.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials in the state of Washington (or eligibility)
  • Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to implement therapeutic interventions aligned with student goals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Organized, flexible, and able to manage caseloads efficiently across a diverse student population

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and strengths within the school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students’ educational and developmental goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, maintaining timely and accurate documentation of services provided
  • Promote student independence in activities of daily living, fine motor skills, and sensory processing
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and school-based initiatives
