Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing valuable occupational therapy services throughout the academic year. Multiple full-time contract roles are now open for experienced Occupational Therapists committed to supporting students’ growth and independence in educational settings.

This opportunity involves a 37.5 hour work week, Monday through Friday, with caseload assignments available at several school sites—elementary, middle, and high school. Specific placements include split roles between Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary, Mount Pleasant Elementary, and a combination of middle and high school settings. This position begins August 25, 2026, and continues through June 8, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license is required
  • Experienced working in school-based occupational therapy
  • Ability to collaborate with educational staff, parents, and caregivers
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Open to working on different campuses, as needed to meet student needs
  • Candidates must provide a current resume and valid DE license for consideration
  • Willingness to complete required $85 CBC fingerprinting

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as per IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and interdisciplinary team members
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with district and state policies
