Key Qualifications:
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) preferred, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) considered
- Experience providing OT services in school, home health, or healthcare settings
- Strong understanding of IDEA/IEP process and familiarity with educational documentation requirements
- Ability to effectively collaborate with classroom staff, administrators, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel between school sites as needed
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals and student needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop targeted intervention plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation
- Provide consultation and strategies for teachers and caregivers to maximize student outcomes
- Document progress, update goals, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy methods to fit a variety of school environments
