Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bear, DE

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license (please include a copy with your application)
• Prior experience in pediatric or school-based OT settings is highly preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for a variety of ages and learning needs
• Dedication to ethical practices and confidentiality

What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive OT services for students across the district
• Assess students’ abilities and create individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to address student needs
• Travel between assigned school sites to deliver onsite therapy support
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with district and state standards

Additional Details:

• Full-time role: 35 hours weekly, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• Contract dates: ASAP through June 8, 2027
• All candidates must complete required district onboarding, including fingerprinting (candidate is responsible for $85 CBC fee), TB testing (unless providing virtual services), Child Protective Registry Check, and contractor packet submission
