Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license for the state of South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs related to school performance
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans to help students achieve their goals
  • Deliver occupational therapy services in group and one-on-one settings, both within and outside the classroom
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate strategies that support independent learning and participation
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district and regulatory standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and relevant team discussions to advocate for students’ needs
