Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting high school students. This role spans the 2026–2027 academic year, beginning August 27th, 2026 and concluding June 16th, 2027. You’ll provide essential therapy services during standard school hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:00pm. With a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students, you’ll play a crucial part in helping young people achieve greater independence and success in their educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid and current OT license in New Hampshire
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with high school-aged students
- Solid knowledge of IEP processes, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group occupational therapy services tailored to student needs
- Assess students, interpret evaluation results, and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain timely documentation
- Support inclusion, accessibility, and adaptive strategies within the school environment
