Occupational Therapist School Setting - Bedford, TX

Imagine yourself making a meaningful difference by supporting K-12 students in their academic journeys as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This full-time, onsite contract position offers an engaging opportunity to work closely with students across multiple schools, providing essential therapy and consultation services. You’ll be part of a collaborative educational environment from now through June 30, 2027, working Monday through Friday, 8:00am to approximately 4:30pm each day.

What you bring:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• Background in school-based OT practice
• Experience or strong interest in serving K-12 students
• Confidence managing a caseload of 38+ students
• Ability to travel between six school sites as part of an itinerant position
• Comfortable preparing Individualized Education Program (IEP) paperwork and participating in ARD meetings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professionalism and adaptability in a multi-site educational setting

What you’ll do:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services and consultations to students from Kindergarten to 12th grade
• Travel between six different school locations as needed
• Manage and oversee a dynamic caseload, ensuring students’ therapy needs are met consistently
• Prepare comprehensive IEP documentation and attend ARD meetings to collaborate with other professionals
• Communicate effectively with school staff, families, and students to facilitate the best possible outcomes
• Adhere to the schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm
