You’ll work at a single school site, providing vital OT services to over 50 students on your caseload. The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, totaling 35 hours per week. Your contract will begin on August 27 and continue until a direct hire is secured, giving you a consistent schedule as you deliver essential therapy and support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Washington State
- At least one year of experience in school-based OT settings
- Proficient in evaluation, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Strong organizational skills to manage a large caseload efficiently
- Excellent communication abilities for interacting with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP team meetings
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Provide consultative support to teachers and classroom staff
- Foster a positive, supportive environment to help students reach their goals
