Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Washington State OT license (or ability to obtain before start)
- Experience working in school environments highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and pediatric therapy interventions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, supporting both academic and daily living skill development
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster a supportive environment for students
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and documentation as required
- Maintain accurate records of services and progress notes in compliance with district and state regulations
