Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active OT license in the state of Washington (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with IEPs, student documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability, professionalism, and a student-centered mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver therapy services aligned with IEP goals, integrating innovative and evidence-based approaches
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student access to learning
  • Provide regular progress reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to best support each student’s needs
  • Offer consultation and training to staff to facilitate classroom adaptations and modifications
