Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy certification in Vermont (VT OT certificate required)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to various age groups and school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to integrate recommendations into the classroom
- Document student progress and maintain all necessary records as required under state and district guidelines
- Provide direct and consultative services to help students access their education and activities in the least restrictive environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary discussions
