This contract opportunity offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to choose between an intensive 5-week, full-time commitment or a part-time option of two days per week through the end of the school year. You’ll support students’ developmental and academic success by delivering vital OT services in a collaborative, student-focused environment. For your expertise, you’ll earn between $55 and $65 per hour, with your skills and dedication directly benefiting local schools.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current (or eligibility for) licensure and registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience within a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet varying student needs
  • Dedication to upholding ethical standards and professional confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services for 25 days, either concentrated over 5 consecutive full-time weeks or spread out two days per week (ASAP through end of school year)
  • Conduct assessments and document treatment progress
  • Develop individualized intervention plans tailored to student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to integrate therapy into daily routines
  • Monitor and report on student outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Engage in team meetings and contribute insights to the multi-disciplinary team
