Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students through dedicated occupational therapy services. This position is designed for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with a passion for working in educational environments and a commitment to fostering student success.
As part of this role, you’ll work full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (at least .5 FTE or above) with a focus on students from Early Childhood through 5th grade. Your core hours will be from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM; occasional after-hours meetings will be required to collaborate effectively with staff and families. All services are conducted in person, ensuring you can build meaningful relationships with students and team members.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in school-based practice, home health, or healthcare settings
- Ability to deliver OT interventions tailored for elementary students (EC–5th grade)
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration and parent engagement
- Commitment to in-person, onsite support—remote work is not available
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and direct interventions in a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure integrated student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and family conferences, which may occur outside standard school hours
- Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
