School Occupational Therapist | Beloit, Wisconsin

Make a difference in the lives of children by using your occupational therapy expertise in a dynamic school-based setting. We’re seeking dedicated professionals to provide essential OT services to elementary students (EC–5th grade) on a contract basis. Both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time opportunities (.5 or above FTE) are available to fit your schedule. The assignment is in-person only.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapist license
• Professional experience in schools, home health, or healthcare settings
• Strong background working with elementary-aged children
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
• Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and progress documentation for diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services primarily to elementary students, supporting their participation and success in the classroom
• Evaluate students, develop individualized treatment plans, and track progress in accordance with educational goals
• Foster open communication with teachers and parents to create supportive learning environments
• Attend after-hours meetings as required (some weeks)
• Maintain detailed records and comply with all relevant guidelines and protocols
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for students’ needs and provide training or resources when appropriate
