Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active OT license, eligible to practice in Illinois
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy environment preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups according to IEP goals

  • Maintain accurate, timely records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment
  • Educate school staff and parents on strategies to enhance student outcomes
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
