Desired Experience and Credentials:
- Active OT (Occupational Therapist) certification and state licensure, meeting all regulatory requirements
- Experience within school-based settings preferred
- Proven capability to deliver effective 1:1 services addressing various student needs
- Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative teamwork
- Ability to adapt interventions for a range of developmental and educational challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP or 504 Plan
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress outcomes
- Document student goals, interventions, and progress with accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for success
- Work with teachers and family members to implement recommendations across settings
- Adhere to professional best practices and ethical guidelines set by regulatory bodies
