Desired Experience and Credentials:

  • Active OT (Occupational Therapist) certification and state licensure, meeting all regulatory requirements
  • Experience within school-based settings preferred
  • Proven capability to deliver effective 1:1 services addressing various student needs
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative teamwork
  • Ability to adapt interventions for a range of developmental and educational challenges

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP or 504 Plan
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress outcomes
  • Document student goals, interventions, and progress with accuracy and timeliness
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for success
  • Work with teachers and family members to implement recommendations across settings
  • Adhere to professional best practices and ethical guidelines set by regulatory bodies
