This contract opportunity is ideal for a certified and licensed Occupational Therapist with a passion for providing individualized care. You'll collaborate closely with educators and families to help students overcome barriers and succeed both academically and personally.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license and certification
  • Previous experience delivering OT services in schools preferred
  • Comfort working 1:1 with students to address fine motor, sensory, or adaptive skill challenges
  • Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families
  • Motivation and flexibility to adapt to changing needs in a school environment
  • Commitment to upholding best practices and ethical standards

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student's strengths and needs
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records aligned with district expectations
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate OT strategies into daily routines
  • Attend meetings and contribute recommendations for student goals and accommodations
  • Educate school staff and families on effective practices to reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions
